Things like the ability to upload your own custom logo and or background to your theme, choose the typography from Google’s webfonts, layout and sidebars and many other options included in each theme. If you need any code customization, you can customize theme with child theme approach.

There you can post any pre-sales questions and theme related problems indicating your WordPress version and the URL of the site the theme are installed on.
