Your query is not clear do want to change the slider image in the front or set image in the background.
If you want to put an image in the background then:
– Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Layout/Design Options->Background Image
If you want to change the slider image then
– Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Featured Section Option>Feature Slider Selection
