I figured out a “solution” to the problem. The short code max-width was 991 and I increase it to 1920 and the images are normal now on all devices and orientations I have access too. I appreciate your time and have a great day.

I have deactivated those plugins. This problem was occurring prior to those plugins if that helps at all. If the screenshot you provided above is the result of inserting gaps I would rather keep them together in that view. With the height issue you said it needs equal content; however, in all other devices and views the height of the columns are the same. If I want the column heights to be the same then do I need the same number of words or same number of characters because those excerpts are the default ones from the theme. Below is a screenshot of it before any plugins or changes. Thanks for the help.
