I’m actually testing the theme as well, and I have the same question because I noticed the breadcrumb behavior almost immediately. It definitely seems like the product pages are dropping the category hierarchy entirely and only showing the product name, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of breadcrumbs for navigation and SEO context. I also tested it with nested categories and saw the same thing happening there too.
Honestly, the theme design is really clean and appealing, which is why it’s frustrating running into these kinds of issues so early on. I’m also concerned about the slow communication regarding reported bugs, especially when they’re reproducible even in the official demo. I still want to like the theme, but I have the same question about whether these issues are actively being worked on or if there’s any timeline for fixes.
