Header image overlay - how to remove - Acme Themes

Hello, I seem to have created a transparent overlay on top of my header image, and I can’t figure out how to remove it. I’ve tried replacing the image itself, with no luck, the overlay always seems to be there. Can you please let me know how to remove it?

Any suggestions? I’ve tried looking through so many css files that my head is spinning.

In case this is useful info, when I go to header image settings and choose to hide the header image, a big dark transparent box still shows up.

Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
