Hi,
Is there a way to not show any text on the featured section image sliders? I am trying to showcase some artwork and don’t want it obscuring with the post title etc.(I am finding it frustrating that so many templates seem focussd on Blogs, rather than web pages…sorry!)
Additionally, is there a way to change the date format at the top of the page (I can see that you can turn it off. I like the positioning of it, but not the format).

There is no any options available on AcmeBlog for show/hide the title, author etc on the featured section slider. If you are familiar with WordPress code, you can customize the theme with Child theme approach. If you are not familiar with code, you can use the premium version of this theme AcmeBlogPro. In this theme you can hide/show author, title, category etc on the featured slider. And there are lots of additional features available to customize your site.
