Dear Nicky,
The text is inbuilt in the theme and it can’t be changed. We suggest you can add new images in the slider. You can follow the path below:
Appearance > Customize > Featured Section Options > Enable Feature Section > Check the box
Appearance > Customize > Featured Section Options > Feature SLider Selection > Choose Page/Page Repeater > Select pages in Slider Selection

There should be an H1 tag for the post and page titles. Can you provide us a screenshot of that particular page where you are facing the problem?

Weblog Pro doesn’t have any child theme. If you want to build a child theme then Please follow the documentation to create a child theme or use the given plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-configurator/
