Thank you for you quick response. Your demo is fast – but why are my (unrelated) sites affected? Do you know if your theme conflicts with known plugins or WP updates etc.?
I only installed the following plugins:
Contact Form 7
One-click Child Theme
TinyMCE advanced
Visual editor Widget
WP Super Cache
