    I have installed Education Base 1.2.7 on a WordPress 4.7.4 and am trying to load the data file from your website using the activated Acme Demo Setup 1.0.3 Plugin. When I try to load the data file the screen simply shows the button saying “Importing” for as long as I leave it there. Nothing is actually happening and no pages/data are created/loaded. Can you help me understand why this is?

    Hello guija75,
    Thank you so much for using our theme Education Base. It may cause due to the below problems:
    1. Is your site already have the data ?
    2. Is your internet is too slow?
    3. Have you downloaded the demo from our documentation page and upload that dummy data from Acme Demo Setup?
    4. Is Education Base theme is activated on your Appearance > Themes
    Please let us know the answers. We will do our best to help you for importing the dummy data.

    All of those things were done, but I want to tell everyone here that you guys are awesome! After realizing that it was an issue with the demo data setup plugin, you actually contacted me, got things sorted out, and updated the plug-in itself so that others would not have the same problem. THATS how to service your customer base, and that’s why not only would I be happy using your themes and products, but recommending you to anyone else I run across who is looking.     Hello! I’m having the same problem. I load the file and receive the “importing” message but nothing changes.

    Hello CrisV13,
    Are you using the latest version of theme and latest version of plugin? We recommend you to use the latest version of theme and plugin on fresh installation. If you have the previous data on your site, the demo data will not import. If you got the errors, this blog post may be helpful for you.

    Nope. nothing works. I’ve tried everything and still get the eternal importing message.

    I have had the same failure. I did update the hosting site with recommended PHP settings but that did not help. Since wordpress skips already imported content , I kept on importing the same zip again and again, and after few tries it imported all the demo content ( it still showed the error message but I see all contents are matching the demo site)

    Hello arunkott,
    If your hosing have the incompatible PHP version, such type of issues will arise. Can you post here what you changed on the PHP setting? So that this threat will be helpful for other as well.
