Have you added any custom codes? If there any additional plugin installed? If so, please deactivate the installed plugin and check once, it may be the plugin issues.

The toolbar appears only for the logged in users. If users are not logged in, it’s not reasonable to show the toolbar. So we think, it’s not the problem.

Maybe you are not using the latest version of the theme. Please make sure you are using the latest version and if not, update your theme in the latest version. Put theme license to get automatic updates.

Are you taking about header advertisement image? If image you added is of high quality, it must appear in good quality. Can you check the demos of this theme so that you can know how it appears on demo also you can compare your site with demo as well.

Currently this feature is not available on theme. It needs theme customization. If you are familiar with codes, you can customize theme as your need or you can hire customizer developer.
Thank you1. Plugin recommend is always appear on dashboard although it will not work automatically.
2. What type of template are you referring about? If you need additional design or style, you can create separate template. If you just want to change the widget on current homepage you can check Appearance -customize – Home Main content area.
In case if backup, we strongly recommend you to backup your site regularly either in server or do it manually.
If you are familiar with codes, you can create template yourself easily. Just google Create WordPress Page Template, you will get lots of result to help you. Please try it out.
