ParticipantWeblog Pro Theme is great but I have trouble to get the rich text editor to work in a plugin. I’m trying to allow guest user to post articles (without registering) so I installed user-submitted-posts plugin and checked the “WP Rich Text Editor” option in the plugin setting. Put the associated short code to the page. The WP Rich Text Editor shows up but I can’t type in anything in the Rich Text Editor at all. Chrome and Safari don’t work. Microsoft Edge works though, surprisingly.
Regular HTML Text Editor works fine.
I thought it could be user-submitted-posts plugin problem so I deactivated that and installed other similar plugins, such as AccessPoress, WP FrontEnd, and others. All of them have the same behavior: can’t type in WP Rich Text Editor. HTML Text Editor works fine.
That makes me think if the theme may have something to do with this symptom. Please help.
Thanks.

ModeratorHello Edwin,
Thank you so much for using our theme. Our theme is tested on most popular plugins although we haven’t tested on all the available plugin. We will check our theme with the above mentioned plugins and get back to you soon.

ParticipantThanks. Please see if you can reproduce this error using the weblog pro theme and user-submitted-post plugin. I like the theme very much so far. I’m trying to find the root cause for this Rich Text Editor problem and the possible fix.

ParticipantBTW, I’d like to follow-up on this. I’ve confirmed that it’s very likely a theme conflict between Weblog Pro theme and the WordPress Rich Text Editor. I activated the default WordPress TwentySeventeen theme with the same plugins (asagros forum and accesspress post), the Rich Text Editor works fine in all browsers. However, I can’t type in anything when I restore back to the Weblog Pro theme. Please let me know when do you think this to be fixed. Thanks a lot in advance.
