Here is an alternative method to import demo data.1. Extract the downloaded zip file, there will be 3 files with extension xml, wie and dat
2. Import xml file using WordPress Importer ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-importer/ )
3. Import wie file using Widget Importer & Exporter ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/ )
4. Import dat file using Customizer Export/Import ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/customizer-export-import/ )Regards!

We have tested your issue in the theme and didn’t find any problem there. All the child pages are appearing in both the slider and in AT Team widget along
with the feature images. So, we need to check your admin panel to know why it’s not working.

wp_get_active_and_valid_themes() is a private core function, which means plugins and themes aren’t supposed to use it. It’s also defined on wp-load.php. This most likely indicates one of two things.1) Your WP Installation isn’t valid. Reinstall the most recent version of WordPress and it should fix itself.
2) If you’re attempting to use WordPress functions outside of WordPress (for example, in a custom PHP file), you’re not properly loading in wp-load.php with require_once( ‘path/to/your/wp-load.php’ );

By default in our theme, when you create child pages of any page then it will show automatically in all page selection of widget (AT Team ) or Featured section. Could you please debug this issue by deactivating your plugin one by one ? If then also this issue reflect then please contact us.Dear Dmitry,
