On the pages I sent the layout is perfect for the first 8 stories but after that it goes really wonky. I haven’t installed anything new that is affecting it as far as I can see.

I am also now having a problem in that the acme resize is not sorting the pictures so the home page layout is looking ropey too.

Can you recommend a way of ensuring it does it’s thing.

    Thanks

I was using the correct child themes with the correct parent themes. I have spoken extensively on live chat and sent emails to you. I have also set up user profile for you to look which I sent by email last week.

    Essentially my site

    Ridgeway

has been running well using supermagpro for months.

I tried to update it to 1.2.3 and the site went very wonky. its display was incorrect, menu out, news ticker out, footer missing etc etc

I reloaded backup and have taken a staging copy of the site to

    http://staging.spotty-quartz.flywheelsites.com/
    user : flywheel
    pass: innate-laugh

I have since tried downloading and running a fresh copy of supermagpro1.2.3 and its display was still not correct. I deleted my own child theme and used your fresh download child theme, thinking i could remake the changes we were using and the faults were worse.

As an experiment I downloaded your supermag themse and used it as the theme and the display was perfect. Even the dropdown glitch was fixed

I have sent you logins to the staging site and hope you can help me sort it out.

I have lost hours on this which is extremely disappointing particularly on a paid theme which worked so well for us until now.

Please get back to me soon

    Thanks

I have deleted and reinstalled the supermagpro-1.2.3 using a new download of the theme from your site and the same errors occurred when it was activated. I have now installed the free supermag theme and the site is running fine, it has even fixed the issues I was having with the dropdown menu. The free supermag theme gives me an option to upgrade to supermagpro – is this a different supermagpro? The thumbnail is predominantly blue where my supermagpro the thumbnail is predominantly orange.

    best

I can switch between the child and parent supermag theme in SuperMagProVersion: 1.2.1 before the update the parent theme to 1.2.3 and all works fine. I look forward to hearing from you.

All my changes were in the child theme. I have just tried again to upgrade the supermagpro parent theme – it has made the same mess – Here is what it did look like. http://www.ridgeway-online.com

here’s what it looks like after I upgrade the parent theme in my staging site to 1.2.3 http://staging.spotty-quartz.flywheelsites.com/ user: flywheel password: innate-laugh

    please help.

    Thanks for that, it worked.

Sadly I then updated the theme as you suggested and despite the fact that we are running a child theme it knocked the layout and settings badly.

I have restored a backup – the site should look like this http://www.ridgeway-online.com/

After the update to the theme it looked like this https://get.google.com/albumarchive/103894347084857735418/album/AF1QipMuNWxb5YRo8b4lZsHpEidqYaosfkgCk4wJZmlD?authKey=CKSv8oq08ZbR6wE

I would really appreciate some help as to how to get the update successfully in place.

    Thanks

I tried using the parent theme the same problem persisted. We got around it by relaying the menu items so short menus lined up ok.
