My main menu links to a series of pages, and the title for each page displays over top of the header banner graphic on each page – the problem being that the text overlaps text that’s in the banner image. Is there a way to disable the page title and keep it from showing there?

Are you talking about the one-page site? Can you please send us your site URL? Please check the demo link as well and try to find the similar issues on our theme too.
