Amandeep
ParticipantHi,
My Blog: http://www.thatshoeguy.com
I’m using the following settings in my wordpress Media settings:
Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 690 * 400
Set Large size : 1080 * 530I also tried this:
Set thumbnail size : 500 * 280
Set Medium size : 690 * 400
Set Large size : 840 * 480The problem is, my featured slider’s main image is still blurry/pixelated. Could you please let me know how to fix this.
It’s the first thing the reader looks at and I don’t want it to be ugly.
Cheers!

ModeratorHello Amandeep,
We recommend you to upload the New image for the slider items with high quality image size. Upload the new image once and try again.
Hope, it will help to resolve the problem.Regards

ParticipantThe images are high quality. I mean, look at the first five posts and their respective thumbnail on the front page of the blog.
But when those same images appear on the slider, they get blurred out. I don’t know what’s going on. The images are high-res so this should not be happening. I resized them to 800×484 to fit the slider. In the past it worked fine but I have re-installed wordpress and now it doesn’t seem to work.

ModeratorHello Amandeep,
After making the image size from media, you used Acme Fix Image plugin to make the image size? We mentioned on that docs that you need to use Acme Fix Image plugin to make the image size as demo. If not used that, kindly use it once.
Let us know the results. https://doc.acmethemes.com/acmeblogpro/#Howtomaketheimagesizeasondemo?Regards
