I have installed this theme “SuperMagPro” to a customer and the LOGO appears much smaller than the customer would like to have it. Can I get the CSS for the size of the box where the LOGO would go on the front page where I can edit the size of the logo box and put that CSS in the “Custom CSS” area. I have done this with other themes with no issues. I have written to support regarding this as well but if I can get the answer here, I would be most grateful.

    Sincerely,
David Williams – Webmaster for http://the-trumpet-online.com

    Hello clearweb,
Please find the code of the logo size mentioned on acmethemes/core.php file. In that file you will get the custom_logo size mentioned. Please change the height and width of the logo as your required size. After than, go to appearance > customize > site identity and add the logo again.(Upload New logo with high size). Hope, this will sort out your issues.
Note: Child Theme is recommended to customize theme.
Let us know, if you have any confusion.

Thanks! The website had been moved to another hosting which I am about to move back. However, in the mean time, can’t I put the code you are talking about in “Custom CSS” with just the part about the logo size? I can then make the change and save it. In the past I have done as you say but when the theme updates it goes back to the default settings. If I do the “Custom CSS” it will stay as it was with the custom size.

    Hello clearweb,
If the CSS you added on the custom css will remain even if you update the theme. But, if you edit the theme file directly, the code you edited will be reset to default after the theme update. So, we recommended you to use the Child Theme for theme customization.

This is what I stated. I have not done anything in the custom CSS because I do not have access to the core.php since it is on other hosting. We are going to be moving the files and database to the existing server of my client, Greg Dixon, who has 3 other websites on this hosting as well. BUT, we have not moved them yet. So, it would not be possible to create a “child theme” or to access the core.php. This is why I requested that you provide me with the code in the core.php that pertains to the size of the custom logo. I can just put that into the section designated for “custom css” and solve the problem before we move the files and database if that is possible.

    Hello Clearweb,
You need to edit the code first, and then the css will work there. So, please download the theme again from my-account page and check the core.php file on the parent theme and check how it works.

    Thank You

I solved the problem. I deactivated the LOGO and used the Add Banner, placed it in the center and it allowed me to use the size I needed without altering the code. See it here: http://the-trumpet-online.com.
