Centreing information on the and making description in Speakers look nice

I’ve downloaded the widget for event location but it puts it on the left hand side and doesn’t look very pretty. It basically looks like this except the first line is coloured. I’d like it positioned further to the right.

Also, the description under the speakers’ images is just one line of plain text, whereas in your example page, it has a pink box with two lines of text. How do I get this function?
