Date showing in Featured Image - Acme Themes

Hi
I want to remove the date showing oon the Featured Image. I have unticked the box under header but it is still showing.

Also how often do you update themes and do you email to let me know.

Thank you so much for using our theme WeblogPro.
1. Kindly check all the options available to manage the featured section via Appearance > Customzie > Featured Section > Featured Section Options and play with the available options there. You can check the documentation for more help.
2. WeblogPro is recently updated on 2017-07-05 so please make sure you have your theme license activated or not. If you license is not active, you will not get the theme update notification.
