We are using the About Us widget. In our short description, we would like to add line breaks or paragraphs. We have tried the <br> tag but it does not work. It just displays the tag on the website. Is this a tech issue?

Thank you so much for using our theme Corporate Plus Pro. You selected the Child Page About Us from the AT About Us Widget ? While creating page, you can add the</br>tag from the Text Mode on the editor. Hope you can now add the line break. Please try once and let us know about the status.Regards,
Acme SupportsThank you for the reply. But that was not my question. We know how to add a line break while creating a page. We are not creating a page here.
We are using the widget About Us. And we are trying to add a line break in the SHORT DESCRIPTION.

Due to the WordPress standards as well as data validation issues, widget short description doesn’t support HTML tags. Better to create a page and it’s child page and get the content from the child page is the better solution. Otherwise, you need to edit the theme codes.

Acme SupportsWe did try what you are suggesting. However, it just pulled a few words even though we specified that we wanted to display more content. That’s the only reason we are trying to use the short description to display the same content. Is it a tech issue?
