    No need my site for that.
    Your own demo also shows the author name at individual blog posts.

    Dear Ch1800,
    Please follow the path below to remove the author from single posts views.
    Appearance > Customize > Single Post Option > Single Post Related Post Options
    Uncheck the box for Show Author and publish the page.

    Thanks but the settings you suggest are only for “related posts” and not for the single post views!

    Please add the given CSS code in Additional CSS.
    Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

    .single .byline .author {
   display: none;
}
