Is there a way to get all thumbnail images to forcefully give them same sizes so it looks good on frontpage? I did the settings — Media sizes but that doesnt help when pictures are diffrent sizes from start.

Also We recommend you to use plugin named Acme Fix Image ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/acme-fix-images/ ) to crop the actual size of the images. This is also described in the theme documentation.
