hello, I have recently setup an SSL certificate and testing HTTPS traffic which has worked across my whole site. I performed a SSL lookup to at whynopadlock and found there are some links that refer to Http content. I have been through each of these changing the protocol to HTTPS in any typed links which just leaves me now with four images with using HTTP. All of which are referring to Custom header image within Feature Selection options/Feature Feature Slider Selection and selecting Custom and assigning each with an image.

When you select these it uses the Http traffic and I am unable to change these to the Https link. How can I change this to fully optimise my SSL certificate?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello owengeorgewilliams,
Thank you so much for your question. As per your question, what about re-upload that four images on media library, after the image uploaded, it may take https on that image link and it may work for you. Please, upload the image from the pc.
Try once and let us know, if worked or not.

    Best Regards,

    Hello, Thanks for the reply

Yes I tried both reapplying the existing media as well as uploading the content as new images and applying them. It continues to use the same HTTP link.

Other images referred through from other parts of the site work – It is just these custom feature slider that have the issue.

    Thanks

    Hello owengeorgewilliams,
If you have only four image link, you can find the link on the database table post-content and change the http to https. Or, if you have number of link to change, you can update the database table with query. Please look on the Blog post to know more about it. Hope this blog post will help to sort out the problem.

    Best Regards,
