    I want to increase the size of my logo on my blog:
    http://www.register-republic.com/
    I know I can do this in the core.php file on the main theme, BUT due to other changes I am using a child theme and the core.php file isn’t accessible.
    Is there any way to use CSS to do this or can I (or you all) give me access to the core.php file in the child theme?

    Hello william,

    We are very happy to know that you are using child theme for theme customization. You are doing absolutely right way.
    It seems like you have already started to customize. You have added this code.

    .site-logo.float-left {
        width: 100%;
    }

    which is good.
    Now you have to change the logo( image ) size. Currently your logo size is 290 * 60, please increase logo size.
    Further if you are willing to change file for the header, the file is not core.php, it is header.php inside acmethemes/hooks/header.php of theme folder supermagpro. You can just copy paste file in the child theme in the same path eg. in child theme create acmethemes folder then inside there create hooks folder then paste header.php of parent theme there, now you are good to go for customization. Same goes on other files too.
    If you have further query please feel free to ask.

    Best Regards,

    How to increase logo size ? I also want to increase size for my logo. I use code above, but the image for logo is still 290*70, how to change that? I try to upload large photo but it is always crop to same dimension 290*70. I am using supermagpro-child theme and acme fix image.
    Also is there any way that I could add advertisement after meny? So that the order is logo then menu, then advertisement and then rest of content.

    Hello Milena,
    Thank you so much for your questions. You can customize the logo size from acmethemes/core.php file. Increase the height and width of logo size from the code there or replace that code with the below code:

     add_theme_support( 'custom-logo', array(
                'height'      => 70,
                'width'       => 290,
                'flex-height' => true,
                'flex-width' => true
            ) );

    You will see the similar codes there, remove it and add the above one.
    There is no any filed to add the Advertisement just below the menu, you can only add above the menu. If you want to add there, you need to customize theme.
    Let us know about the results.

    No my mistake code isn’t working.
    I replace code in core.php with
    add_theme_support( ‘custom-logo’, array(
    ‘height’ => 150,
    ‘width’ => 1100,
    ‘flex-height’ => true,
    ‘flex-width’ => true,
    ) );

    And it work until I made change on site. I add new page in menu and custom logo change back to the original size. I try uploading logo again but it didn’t help. I dont get it.

    Code in core.php is fine
    in media library stats Suggested image dimensions: 1100 × 150
    I am uploading picture 1100×150
    In site indetenty i choose to show only logo
    But for some reason logo on site has small size ( I am guessing original size 290*70)
    Help!

    Please add the below css codes on Appearance > Customize > Layout/Design Options > Custom CSS,

    .site-logo.float-left {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Hope, this will help to make the logo full width.
    Let us know about the result. Crop the logo size you want to use there. All the logo will appear full width now.
