Eros
MemberHi,
I’m continuing my experiment. I’m setting up a new front end site for thinBasic programming language at http://www.thinbasic.com/wordpress/
The idea is to have the front-end site as a sort of marketing web site with language tutorial, reference to projects developed in community forum ( http://www.thinbasic.com/community/forum.php ) like users projects, …What I need to do is to show a left side area with the list of related posts.
I mean, when someone enter into a tutorial, I would like the left area filled with related tutorials category.
So far I was able to show left side when inside a tutorial but not able to find a way to show only related tutorials or show posts of a category the same category of the main post. All category listing seems to be predefined by the setup. I need a category listing dynamic with the same category of the main article visible in that moment.I hope to have expressed my idea in a comprehensible way, I’m Italian and my English is … so and so.
Thanks a lot

KeymasterHello Eros,
Related posts can be shown in many ways. You see 4 examples in demo too.
- Left to featured image : https://demo.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/blog/2015/12/11/cycling-competition/
- Right to featured image : https://demo.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/blog/2015/12/11/goal-goal-goal/
- Below content : https://demo.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/blog/2015/12/12/antique-in-sell/
- Below content ( another example ):https://demo.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/blog/2015/12/12/model-in-bike/
But you cannot show related posts in sidebar. And they are all dynamic not predefined.
Here in documentation you will see how to setup Related posts : https://doc.acmethemes.com/supermagpro/#SinglePostOptions,
Also you can override related post setting while adding/editing posts. And Related post are absolutely dynamic not predefined HTML/CSS.
If you get again any confusion, please feel free to ask without any hesitation, we are here to help you.Best Regards,
