request: Related Posts Display Options

I migrated 800+ messages from Joomla to WordPress and in the template. The ‘featured images’ in Joomla are too small to use in the template. So I removed these imgaes as featured image and now they’re the first image in the post. Due to this choice, no image is shown in the related posts which makes it far less cool. Could someone provide me with the php code to make this happen?

Hello Karel,
Please make sure you are using the latest version of our theme. Please check, if not used, please update your theme on the latest version. We solved this issues on the latest version. Here is the blog post to enable the automatic updates on your theme. Hope, this will help you.

I use the latest version (bought it some days ago). I can’t get it to work.
I have no featured images (see my first post in this thread).

Customizing > Single Post Option > Single Post Related Post Options > Below content > Show image

No image is shown.

While viewing your website, there is no such No Image Available appearing. Can you please check this link?
If you add the featured image, this section will replaced by image.

In the related posts (others also viewed …), there is no image. Hence my question on top. Can the featured image be replaced by the first image in the post itself?

1. normally: in the related posts below the single post, the featured image of the related posts is displayed.
2. as is: my posts don’t have a featured image (due to the migration) thus the related posts have no image at all, that is not okay
3. solution: provide the possibility to use the first image in the post itself to display in the related posts below the single post
4. result: the related posts will have an image

See the first image in the post (smartphone); below thos single post, you see the related posts without image because these posts have no featured image

All you need to do is to extract the first image from the post and use that in the related posts.

Please check the plugin and post related to this issues.
If the above provided link not worked, you need to customize the theme. Because, related post are developed in a such way that, you need to add featured image on the post and it will appear on the related post.
