I would like to show the video thumbnail in the video slider widget when I upload a video URL. How can I do this? When I upload the video URL from the
post, the thumbnail shows the default “No Image”. How can you capture the video image to show the featured image? Even better to do this automatically

Thank you for using our theme. Video can’t be placed in place of featured image on slider. Video will only appeared on the single page. You can make the image of the video and place in the featured image. Hope, it will looks like the video and the visitor feel the illusion and when they click they will redirected to single page. In the single page you can place the video in place of featured image. We have video gallery widget, you can use that widget to show video on the widget area. Check this post to know how to make the video gallery.Regards
Hi, not sure if I explained correctly. When I upload a video, the thumbnail in the video slider always shows the default “No Image” from theme settings. I want the thumbnail to show the video image without having to do a screenshot of the video then upload to featured image.
Yes, if you missed to add the featured image on the video post, No Image Available will appear in place of featured image. So, please don’t forget to add the featured image on every post/page.

My question is why do I have to screenshot an image from my video when the video already has the image available? It should capture the video as the image when I upload the video to the post for both the featured image and thumbnail use. It appears I now have to use another solution for this outside of the theme.
Hi, I’m using the WordPress video post and uploading the video via URL. The main larger image is captured and shows in the video slider, but the smaller thumbnail always shows ‘No Image’ by default. Why does the larger image show, but nothing for the thumbnail until I screenshot the video and upload a featured image, then thumbnail shows what I uploaded? I also have the embed URL in “Featured Video” section with ‘Replace featured video in single post’ unchecked.

As our above conversation, you need to put the featured image to avoid the No Image Available. Adding featured image is mandatory for this version. We are going to update the theme and on the next version, you will not face this problem. Please wait few days for this.
